Hirzer hiking area

Within only a few minutes, the Hirzer cable cars bring visitors about 1500 m higher, right into the hiking paradise at an altitude of 2000 metres. From here you can overlook the sunny high-plateau.

From the Klammeben mountain station at about 2000 m you can overlook the sunny Hirzer high-plateau with its numerous hiking trails leading from hut to hut.

The mountain station also provides a starting point for high-alpine hikes.

Operation times:

CABLE CAR SALTAUS (valley station) - PRENN (middle station) from 8.30 a.m. every half hour until 5.30 p.m. (from 15th of June – 30th of September until 6.30 p.m.)

CABLE CAR PRENN (middle station) - KLAMMEBEN (mountain station) from 8.40 a.m. every half hour until 1.10 p.m. and in the afternoon from 1.20 p.m. to 5.20 p.m. (from 15th of June - 30th of September until 6.20 p.m.)
